Microsoft's Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) division is central to their 'Intelligent Cloud' mission, supporting over 200 online businesses globally with their robust infrastructure solutions. The Cloud Hardware Analytics & Tools (CHAT) Team within SCHIE is seeking a Principal Data Scientist to enhance the quality of Microsoft Azure through innovative analytics and AI applications.

This role requires you to have:

• Doctorate or equivalent in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related fields with 5+ years of data science experience, or equivalent qualifications and experience.
• 7+ years of experience in hardware silicon development.
• 5+ years of hands-on AI experience in the semiconductor/silicon industry.
