In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines utilizing Spark (Scala/PySpark), AWS Glue, and Airflow.
• Collaborate with analysts and engineers to ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility.
• Optimize data workflows for enhanced performance and cost-efficiency.
• Implement best practices for data governance and security compliance.
• Develop automated testing and monitoring for data workflows.
• Define and implement data models to support analytics initiatives.

• 4+ years experience with big data frameworks like Apache Spark.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with distributed databases.
• Experience building ETL pipelines for healthcare claims data.
• Workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow.
• Manage data processing on AWS platforms.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.
