Mount Sinai Health System, a leading academic medical system in New York, seeks a Data Analyst II to manage and enhance data integrity and security. This role is critical in developing reports that support a new model of care, collaborating with clinical and administrative staff for data reporting needs.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to identify data reporting requirements.
• Develop easy-to-understand analytic reports for various stakeholders.
• Apply modeling techniques to analyze and specify data structures.
• Implement best practices in data management to ensure data integrity and quality.
• Perform data capture, extraction, and analysis.
• Develop and maintain procedures for data entry, cleaning, and documentation.
• Recommend and document improvements in processing, distribution, and data flow procedures.
• Define parameters for file or space utilization as needed.
• Work closely with IT management and staff.
• Access and manage data in the Data Warehouse.
• Assist with data-related queries, statistical analyses, and reporting.
• Design custom applications to meet database requirements.
• Identify and provide solutions to data management issues.
• Stay updated on current data management regulations and technologies.
• Prepare manuscripts and materials for internal and external audiences.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, or related field.
• 3+ years of analytics experience, including report development and database management, preferably in a healthcare environment.
