The Principal Data Engineer will drive the development and refinement of Moxie's data infrastructure, interacting closely with senior leadership and external vendors.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Build partnerships with key stakeholders including Product, Engineering, and Finance teams.
• Manage and enhance Moxie’s data systems with tools like AWS RDS, Prefect, and Snowflake.
• Take co-ownership of data systems and lead the data roadmap alongside Orchard Analytics.
• Develop AI-powered tools and scalable solutions for data automation.
• Plan machine learning and data science projects.

This role requires you to have:

• Expertise in designing ETL pipelines and cloud-based data infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Proficiency with SQL and data modeling, focusing on analytics-ready structures.
• Proficiency with tools such as DBT, Prefect, Airbyte, and Snowflake.
