The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), a nonprofit organization focused on public health and safety, collaborates with member state boards. The role of a Data Engineer exists to enhance NABP's data capabilities, creating insights that guide organizational decisions. Working in a hybrid model, the team focuses on data transformation and governance.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Analyze data, processes, and systems to identify gaps and propose solutions.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Understand data platforms such as data warehousing and data modeling.
• Utilize databases and data movement technologies like Databricks and AWS Redshift.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Implement data models and schemas.
• Develop DBT models for data transformation.
• Ensure data governance and security compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and analysts to fulfill data requirements.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2-6 years as a Data Engineer (Python, SQL)
• Experience with DBT features and capabilities
• Hands-on experience with DBT or equivalent
• Experience with data warehouses like Snowflake or Redshift
• SQL and database design expertise
• Understanding of data warehouse and ETL concepts
