The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy is seeking a Data Engineer who will be integral in managing and transforming data into valuable insights. This role is essential for identifying data gaps, implementing solutions, and ensuring compliance with data governance policies. The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to enhance data-driven decision making.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Analyze data, processes, and systems to identify gaps and propose solutions
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Understand data platforms including warehousing, acquisition, and transformation
- Work with databases and data movement technologies such as Databricks and AWS Redshift
- Develop robust data transformation pipelines using Python and SQL
- Implement data models for efficient data storage and retrieval
- Maintain compliance with data governance and security policies
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and analysts to meet data requirements
