The role involves building a new enterprise data warehouse on Snowflake within an AWS environment, ensuring seamless data integration and management. In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the enterprise data warehouse on Snowflake within AWS
- Create scalable data models and ETL processes
- Integrate data from sources like Salesforce using platforms such as Mulesoft and FiveTran
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data integration and deployment
- Implement workflow management using Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAG)
- Ensure robust data security and access controls
- Optimize cost management of data storage and compute resources
- Efficiently scale compute resources to meet data processing demands
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, resolving issues promptly
