The position, based in Omaha, NE, accommodates a hybrid working model.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Compile, review, analyze, and reconcile financial and insurance data from multiple sources to prepare reports.
  • Process payment requests for funding and loss payments, ensuring timely transactions.
  • Facilitate communication of accounting and financial information across locations.
  • Assist with Financial Database duties under supervision.
  • Calculate and prepare supplemental reserves and IBNR allocations.
  • Develop and maintain PC program applications using spreadsheet and database software.
  • Compile reports for management and regulatory agencies.
  • Stay informed on insurance accounting and financial reporting developments.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • One or more years of work experience
  • Knowledge of general and statutory accounting principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
