Data Analyst, Capital Projects and Reporting

The Data Analyst role supports the Capital Projects and Reporting team in delivering effective data insights and managing financial reporting. This position is crucial for reinforcing planning efforts and optimizing internal workflows.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Prepare and update Excel files and PowerPoint presentations regarding appropriations and expenditures.
• Maintain and amend datasets promptly as numbers change.
• Collaborate with the planning group for Capital Plan updates.
• Manage data using legacy systems, ensuring its accuracy and integration.
• Track financial data and ensure correct representation in reports.
• Assist in managing data transfer projects and streamlining workflows.
• Support SQL and Power BI projects alongside the team.
• Produce periodic reports and conduct ad-hoc analysis for decision-making.
• Identify chances to automate and improve workflows for enhanced efficiency.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.
