The Energy Data Analyst role is critical to advancing energy management initiatives, utilizing data to support sustainability efforts and identify conservation opportunities.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Analyze energy and water data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare reports on energy consumption to support cost avoidance initiatives.
  • Perform energy cost accounting and statistical analysis.
  • Collaborate with campus personnel and utility companies to resolve utility discrepancies.
  • Support external benchmarking and measurement of conservation measures.
  • Conduct life cycle cost analysis for pilot conservation projects.
  • Interface with campus utility customers for billing insights.
  • Develop reports on energy consumption trends and costs.
  • Perform measurement & verification for Energy Savings Performance Contracts.
  • Address anomalies in data through frequent ad-hoc queries.
