Northwestern University is looking for a skilled Data Analyst Lead to play a crucial role in the design and enhancement of enterprise applications. This role exists to formulate and define systems scope and objectives, solving complex problems through innovative approaches. The Data Analyst Lead will be part of a dynamic team focused on supporting and enhancing business systems aligned with organizational goals.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Manage and influence stakeholders to meet user requirements and document all gaps.
• Lead a team to ensure installation, configuration, and functionality of enterprise systems.
• Define and periodically review methodology and documentation standards.
• Represent the organizational area in advisory and planning groups.
• Verify documentation accuracy for training materials and system processes.
• Address implementation dependencies and manage project timelines.
• Lead test script execution and ensure software meets requirements.
• Analyze and resolve production issues promptly.
• Coordinate off-hours initiatives and escalate critical performance issues.
• Supervise staff, provide guidance, and manage complex projects.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6 years of functional/business/system analysis experience.
• Proficiency in BI, Cognos BI, Microsoft Office, SQL/MySQL/Postgres.
• Strong critical thinking, business intelligence application design, and data mining skills.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehouse design, debugging, and problem solving.
