Novelis, a leader in aluminum recycling and sustainable solutions, is looking for a Senior Data Analyst for their Global HR Process Excellence team. This role, based in Atlanta, GA, aims to offer advanced data analyses and consulting to HR to support workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee development.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and drive adoption of solutions.
  • Identify business trends and problems through complex data analysis.
  • Apply and integrate statistical, mathematical, and predictive modeling to manipulate complex data from various sources.
  • Develop, analyze, and model workforce, operational, economic, management, financial, and other organizational data.
  • Use and analyze existing data science solutions to perform tasks in a reproducible and repeatable manner.
  • Automate the collection and analysis of large datasets to improve all phases of the HR pipeline.
  • Collaborate with People Analytics and HRIS teams to deliver complete analytics solutions.
  • Maintain expertise in People Analytics through professional development and mentoring.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Success in client-facing analysis
  • Data mining and modeling experience
  • Mastery of statistics, mathematical modeling, and analysis
  • Understanding of exploratory data analysis via coding
  • Ability to work with large volumes of data and create actionable visualizations
  • Translating social measurement into insights and actionable reports
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Cultural navigation skills and openness to continuous learning
  • Strong teamwork abilities

You would benefit from having:

  • Programming skills in R and/or Python
  • Master’s degree
  • Knowledge in Organizational Psychology or Organizational Behavior
  • Experience advising leaders based on data and system-level thinking
