The Data Analyst role is essential to the DFML mission of managing the Commonwealth's Paid Family & Medical Leave program, ensuring operational excellence and program integrity. The Analyst will collaborate with management to address data needs and provide strategic direction through analysis and reporting, underpinning policy initiatives and operations.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Support the development of a data strategy for DFML
- Assist in strategic planning through collection of business goals
- Conduct assessments and recommend modernization pathways
- Provide strategic advice on data platforms and technological solutions
- Interact with business teams to collect requirements and provide recommendations
- Support the development of processes for efficient data management
- Document business and technical requirements
- Analyze existing systems and recommend strategies for improvement
- Develop success metrics for data strategy initiatives
- Project manage strategy team efforts
- Lead and participate in working groups within DFML
