The Illinois State Treasurer’s Office is looking for a skilled Data and Program Analyst to join their Operations Division. This role is essential for leveraging data to enhance program effectiveness, generate informative reports, and improve operational efficiency through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams to interpret complex datasets and support various program areas.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Conduct data validation and analyses to assess program effectiveness.
• Develop reports and dashboards to communicate findings.
• Analyze program data for trends and facilitate process improvements.
• Coordinate data exchanges with external vendors using secure methods.
• Oversee specific Unclaimed Property initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with data integrity and security policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

This role requires you to have:

• Strong analytical skills for data collection and analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Database management and data validation proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
