Optimal Inc. is looking for a Data Acquisition Engineer to lead data acquisition projects. This role is crucial for setting up data systems, ensuring data integrity, and interacting with various engineering teams to support testing activities.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Set up and operate data acquisition systems
• Coordinate with stakeholders and manage data processing
• Implement vehicle instrumentation and part changes
• Lead projects with minimal supervision

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field
• 2-5 years of experience in an automotive testing environment
• Proficiency with data acquisition equipment and transducers
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience with CANBUS and related tools
• Familiarity with NCode, MTS RPC Pro, and FlexTest

The role requires a valid driver's license and clean driving record for company car use. Some weekend work and overtime may be necessary.
