Orange-Ulster BOCES is searching for a School Data Analyst to act as the district liaison with the Mid-Hudson Regional Information Center. This role is crucial for data collection, analysis, and ensuring compliance with data standards. The analyst will collaborate with district staff to enhance data comprehension and meet New York State Education Department mandates.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison to the Mid-Hudson Regional Information Center for district data collection.
- Analyze district-level data and communicate standards across departments.
- Monitor compliance with data standards and maintain accurate records.
- Provide status reports on compliance and respond to data analysis requests.
- Offer training and support related to state reporting system requirements.
- Maintain the Student Management System and address system issues.
- Develop processes for elementary schedules and report cards with principals.
- Coordinate with IT Director for grants, applications, and special projects.
- Review freeware and software requests and third-party vendor agreements.
- Generate solutions for ad-hoc data and reporting requests.

- Bachelor's Degree in computer sciences, business administration, statistics or related field and two years of experience with databases.
- OR Associate's Degree in similar fields with four years of relevant experience.
