In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Act as an expert for geospatial data in the IT Geo Tech & Data team.
- Coordinate survey company activities to ensure timely and budget-friendly survey completion.
- Organize survey data transfer for SDE assimilation by the GTD team.
- Develop automation workflows to integrate spatial and non-spatial data.
- Communicate operational updates to stakeholders accurately and promptly.
- Assess survey data for completeness and resolve discrepancies.
- Address errors in geospatial data and fix workflow inconsistencies.
- Apply datum transformations and repair coordinate reference issues.
- Create and manage online content for web maps and mapping applications.
- Stay updated with geospatial technology trends for potential integration.

This role requires you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Geospatial Science, Geographic Information Science, Geomatics, or similar.
- 5+ years in the upstream oil & gas industry.
- 5+ years managing data in SDE databases.
- Expertise in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and Geoprocessing Tools.
- ArcGIS Web App Builder proficiency.
- FME Desktop proficiency.
- Understanding of land surveying methods and field operations.
- Proficiency in reference systems and imagery processing.
- Strong communication skills for non-technical client requests.
You would benefit from having:
- GIS certification.
- Understanding of SQL Server and SQL queries.
- ArcGIS ModelBuilder and/or FME experience.
- Python scripting and other scripting languages knowledge.
- Experience with PowerBI and Spotfire.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate and SharePoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Creative thinker focused on process improvements.
