Data Analytics Analyst

Pan-American Life Insurance Group, known for serving the insurance needs across the U.S. and territories, is seeking a Data Analytics Analyst. This role, housed within their U.S. Group Division, is designed to support data analytics and ETL processes. The team collaborates closely with various internal and external partners to enhance operational capabilities.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Run monthly ETL data processes and address data issues in coordination with the Data Analytics and Modeling Lead.
• Utilize technologies such as SQL Server, Access, Excel, and Excel VBA effectively.
• Coordinate project management efforts with business areas, IT, and external vendors, maintaining stakeholder communication.
• Document and understand project requirements and internal dependencies to ensure timely completion.
• Research and implement industry best practices to improve existing business processes and operational models.

This role requires you to have:

• Experience with at least one programming language like Python, VBA, R, Java, or JavaScript.
• Ability to write SQL queries for reporting and analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in project management and effective documentation processes.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
