In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Conduct statistical analysis and report generation using data from multiple sources.
  • Collect, evaluate, and maintain data accuracy for management and clinical decision-making.
  • Create and analyze trending reports with statistical summaries for management use.
  • Design and implement database applications, recommending system improvements.
  • Support custom software tools and manage departmental databases for reporting purposes.
  • Ensure database integrity and perform maintenance tasks such as tuning and backup.
  • Collaborate with staff to meet data needs, prepare reports, and address data requirements.
  • Support the department with technology, software, and hardware applications.
  • Implement new projects and monitor results for management.

This role requires you to have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with a minimum 80% test score.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of statistical analysis and database design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field or management information systems.
  • Two years of experience in healthcare or business data analysis.

You would benefit from having:

  • Knowledge of program evaluation methods and strategic planning.
  • Experience with management information systems design and interface.
  • Familiarity with provider credentialing and privileging processes.
