The role of Sr. Data Scientist I is vital for designing, developing, and enhancing comprehensive data science solutions aligned with Pax8's innovative vision.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive data science solutions.
• Architect and build machine learning infrastructures, deployment, and monitoring.
• Mentor junior and mid-level data scientists.
• Include testing in all aspects of the development process.
• Participate in project planning and architecture discussions.
• Lead the adoption of new data science techniques and technologies.
• Work with stakeholders to determine the desired feature set and develop stable solutions.
• Create descriptive reports and visualizations detailing performance of projects.
• Analyze potential problems and provide solutions to data issues.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

This role requires you to have:

• Advanced experience with Python and data science stack.
• Expertise in SQL.
• Experience with both supervised and unsupervised machine learning models.
• Advanced skills in statistical methods.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Technical leadership abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
