Persistent Systems is looking for a Data Analyst to join their team. The role is focused on enhancing operational processes by analyzing and improving current systems. Working in a typical office environment, this position is integral to identifying areas of improvement and implementing effective data-driven solutions.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Analyze operational functions and propose improvements.
- Maintain databases, extract data, and support operational functions.
- Review reports and create statistical models for analysis.
- Identify and address operational inadequacies.

- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Analytical skills and knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts.

- Experience with SAS, DB2, or other relational databases.
The work environment is typical for an office, with some travel required between buildings and out of town. Candidates should be able to commute or relocate to Columbia, SC 29203.
