In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Generate daily and weekly reports for staff to enhance team preparation and player performance.
• Support coaching analytics by providing advanced statistics, player performance metrics, and opponent analysis.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses for coaching, training, and executive teams, delivering accurate results quickly.
• Complete quick-turn tasks including post-game reports, injury trend analysis, and trade scenario modeling.
• Integrate various data sources into a cohesive analysis framework in collaboration with the analytics team.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and address their data needs to improve decision-making.

This role requires you to have:

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and experience with visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Strong basketball statistics and key performance indicators understanding.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex data clearly and effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Experience in basketball operations or with professional sports teams.
