The Data Analyst position is a crucial part of the Corporate Data and Analytics team, aiming to analyze and optimize provider reimbursements.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Analyze medical costs and reimbursement trends from a provider perspective across various business lines.
• Utilize managed care financing knowledge to assess financial performance using reimbursement methodologies.
• Create and execute SAS and/or SQL queries, Excel pivot tables for analyses.
• Prepare regulatory submissions evaluating provider cost trends.
• Identify gaps and performance indicators in reimbursement trends.
• Develop analytic use cases to meet business needs.
• Apply rigorous quality assurance through peer review.
• Document analysis methodologies and deliverables.
• Maintain strong business relationships and collaborate with stakeholders.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in an analytics-related field, with a preference for a Master’s degree.
• 3-5 years of experience, ideally in payer/provider settings.
• Intermediate programming skills in SAS and SQL.
• Proficiency in managing and analyzing large data sets using Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
