In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Develop analytic use cases based on business needs.
  • Use programming and statistical skills to address analytic requirements.
  • Apply data visualization and storytelling techniques.
  • Conduct rigorous quality assurance and validation checks.
  • Document and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Monitor business adoption of analytics and gather feedback.
  • Troubleshoot and support monthly provider claims file analytics.
  • Act as a liaison between corporate stakeholders and IT.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses based on provider inquiries.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytics-related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience, preferably in a payer/provider setting.
  • Moderate to complex analytics experience.
  • Intermediate programming skills in SAS, SQL, R, or Python.
  • Applied statistical experience.
  • Data visualization expertise and storytelling methods.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

You would benefit from having:

  • Experience with Tableau or similar tools.
  • Understanding of health insurance claims data.
