The Data Scientist I position offers an opportunity to drive significant impact through cross-functional collaboration and technical excellence.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to inform modeling.
  • Design and develop predictive models and machine learning solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide insights.
  • Ensure model validity and implement best practices in model testing.
  • Partner with Advanced Analytics Center of Excellence.
  • Communicate analytic solutions to stakeholders in a structured manner.
  • Monitor and refine model performance.
  • Follow data governance and privacy protocols.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years in Quantitative Analytics or decision sciences.
  • Experience with R, Python, SAS, and SQL.
  • Proficient in machine learning algorithms such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments like AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Experience with AI/ML platforms like Sagemaker, DataRobot.
  • Solid statistical modeling and data analysis skills.

You would benefit from having:

  • Proficiency in TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn.
  • Experience with Hadoop, Spark, and big data technologies.
  • Knowledge of deep learning algorithms like CNNs and RNNs.
  • Familiarity with various validation techniques like A/B testing and Chi-Square tests.
  • Experience with cloud and on-prem data platforms like Snowflake, Redshift.
