In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows.
• Collaborate with analysts to design data models for business intelligence.
• Design and manage data warehouses and lakes.
• Ensure data quality and security through data governance practices.
• Evaluate and adopt new data technologies and tools.
• Work with cross-functional teams to address data needs.
• Take ownership of small projects, managing timelines and deliverables.

This role requires you to have:

• Experience with Azure Databricks and Unity Catalog.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Experience with Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data modeling.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

You would benefit from having:

• Experience with data automation tools like Airflow and MLFlow.
• Comfort using Linux command line.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Knowledge of additional data languages like Java, Scala, or Go.
