In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and optimize SQL databases, ensuring performance and data integrity.
• Develop and troubleshoot complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Oversee Azure SQL Managed Instance for security, performance, and scalability.
• Implement and manage ETL/ELT processes for data integration from various sources.
• Create data models to facilitate analytics and reporting.
• Align database solutions with software applications for integrated performance.
• Transform business requirements into database frameworks.
• Ensure database health through performance monitoring and improvements.
• Participate in Agile workflows, contributing to sprints and code reviews.
• Work closely with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders for data-driven solutions.

This role requires you to have:

• Proficiency in T-SQL and query optimization with 3+ years of experience.
• Expertise in SQL database design and indexing.
• Experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance and cloud databases.
• Hands-on knowledge of ETL/ELT tools like Azure Data Factory and SSIS.
• Understanding of data modeling, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Analytical skills for complex data model evaluation and solution design.
• Effective communication to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
