In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Implement and operate projects focused on data quality and infrastructure improvements.
  • Build relationships with collaborators, ensuring effective communication with partners new to data analysis.
  • Understand and manage data system capabilities and limitations.
  • Design, write, and test data queries and generate necessary reports.
  • Develop open-source code for data ingestion and visualization.
  • Compile and organize complex data from multiple systems.
  • Create interactive data products like dashboards and maps.
  • Support the analysis of COVID-19 outbreaks and streamline data processing.
  • Design quality reports for public health data analysis.
  • Develop protocols and manuals for data systems operations.
  • Resolve data inconsistencies and improve workflows.
  • Collaborate on research or study teams as needed.
  • Facilitate strategic planning conversations with partners.

This role requires you to have:

  • Five years in data analysis or programming.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in managing data and analysis for large databases.
  • Proficient in R, Python, SAS, SQL, or VBA.
  • Experience with project management.

  • Knowledge of statistical techniques and modeling.
  • Critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
