In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Estimate and design models for delinquency, default, prepayment, and claim severity.
• Support model estimation, implementation, monitoring, and back testing through programming.
• Create analytical presentations and communicate strategic business findings to management.
• Analyze alternative credit structures and risk-sharing arrangements.
• Manipulate large datasets using R, Python, or SAS to identify trends and make recommendations.
• Research model development and methodologies.
• Support economic scenario simulation, capital, and portfolio optimization.

This role requires you to have:

• Probability modeling
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in SAS, R, C++, or Python
• Mathematical, statistical, and econometric knowledge
• Financial analysis of structured mortgage products
• Ability to work in a team
