The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. supports New Yorkers' mental health, focusing on adults with serious mental illness and children with emotional disturbances. The Data Analyst position within the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports aims to contribute to initiatives against the opioid crisis, supported by the SAMHSA State Opioid Response 2024 grant. Successful candidates will utilize their expertise in evaluation and data science to support various programs.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Evaluate statistical methods to ensure data validity and accuracy.
- Perform descriptive and multivariate analyses.
- Prepare reports and visualizations for research findings.
- Present evaluation results to varied audiences.
- Oversee all phases of assigned evaluations with process improvements.
- Provide technical guidance in collaboration with project teams.
- Conduct comprehensive quantitative analysis.
- Manage and prepare large data sets for analysis.
- Monitor provider use of performance measurement tools.
