The Data Scientist role plays a critical part in developing models and insights that facilitate business growth and improve decision-making. The team is focused on integrating various data sources to achieve a comprehensive view of consumer interactions with Safelite's offerings.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Apply statistical analysis, supervised, and unsupervised modeling techniques to improve KPIs and inform decision-making.
• Identify and make data-driven conversion opportunities actionable across customer experience, supply chain, and operations.
• Independently manage data tidying, preparation, visualization, model creation, and training in the data science pipeline.
• Support and evaluate key conversion and pricing strategies while presenting financial results.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and comply with policies and standards.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Analytics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience as a data scientist or advanced analyst.
• Proficiency in problem-solving, detail-orientation, and multitasking.

You would benefit from having:

• Ability to develop, validate, and implement business-driven models.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Tableau for data presentation.
• Competence in using a modern open-source statistical programming language for machine learning and model delivery.
• Intermediate applied statistics and machine learning understanding.
• Familiarity with e-commerce and B2C pricing strategies.
• Intermediate SQL skills and experience with R or Python.
