The company is seeking a motivated Data Engineer to join their data-driven team, focusing on enhancing data infrastructure and supporting analytical initiatives.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Manage integration of cloud-based data sources, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Engage in architecture discussions to improve data reliability and scalability.
  • Document processes and workflows thoroughly for consistency.
  • Lead post-mortems on data-related incidents to improve processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data needs and actionable insights.
  • Define and refine metrics in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Ensure data availability and performance for analysis.
  • Align data initiatives with company goals in cross-functional planning.
  • Facilitate regular data reviews to identify gaps or needs.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams.
  • Contribute to company-wide data culture.
  • Monitor and ensure data quality with validation checks.
  • Collaborate on data governance initiatives for privacy and compliance.
  • Lead initiatives in predictive analytics or machine learning.
  • Identify opportunities for data-driven process improvements.
  • Drive the adoption of self-service analytics.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in data engineering.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with ETL tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Python or other relevant programming languages.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
