The Data Scientist SME role supports the Army Sustainment Command through advanced analysis and business process optimization, essential for improving logistics and operations.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Provide quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities.
• Optimize business processes across the Doctrine, Organization, Training, Leadership, Education, Personnel, Facilities and Policy spectrum.
• Identify complex challenges and opportunities within Army Sustainment Command systems.
• Develop and integrate solutions into ASC’s software and workflows.

This role requires you to have:

• Ability to obtain a favorable interim secret clearance.
• Master’s Degree in Data Science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• US Citizenship.
• 8 years of experience in advanced analysis and analytics.

You would benefit from having:

• Active Secret clearance.
• Experience in R programming, SQL, and web application development in Shiny.
• Knowledge of Foundry.
• Experience in time series analysis and advanced multivariate regression.
