SESAC Rights Management, Inc is looking for a Data Analyst who will contribute to the Royalty Distribution and Research Services team. This position focuses on gathering and analyzing key metrics, ensuring informed recommendations and timely reports. The role is crucial for enhancing the department's strategic decisions through data interpretation and supporting research.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Gather and organize data from various sources for analysis.
• Conduct and summarize data analysis, including trends and exploratory insights.
• Collaborate with team members to interpret data and develop actionable recommendations.
• Support the engineering team in designing data frameworks.
• Conduct research on song catalogs, industry developments, and trends.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Statistics.
• 1+ years experience in an analyst role.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, particularly Oracle.
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Organizational skills with a capacity to prioritize and multitask.

You would benefit from having:

• Knowledge of Tableau and other data visualization tools like Qlik or Amazon QuickSight.
• Experience with programming languages such as R or Python.
