Sistic.com Pte Ltd is seeking a passionate Data Engineer with strong problem-solving skills and experience in building data infrastructure. In this role, you will collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Software Engineers to build and manage data products and the SISTIC Data Warehouse/Data Lake. You will design, develop, and launch efficient and reliable data pipelines, solving issues in existing pipelines and building new ones. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining data warehouse architecture and relational databases, monitoring incidents, and participating in code reviews.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Work with cross-functional teams to build and manage data products and the SISTIC Data Warehouse/Data Lake.
• Design, develop, and launch efficient and reliable data pipelines.
• Solve issues in existing data pipelines and build new ones.
• Build modular pipelines to construct features and modeling tables.
• Maintain data warehouse architecture and relational databases.
• Monitor incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement appropriate actions.
• Create, document, and monitor highly readable code.
• Obtain and ingest raw data at scale, utilizing scripts, web scraping, APIs, and SQL queries.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews with peers.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with minimum 2 years of IT experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in designing, building, and operationalizing medium to large-scale data integration projects.
• Strong proficiency in databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, HIVE, Druid).
• Solid background in programming languages like Python and SQL, with proficiency in Spark.
• Experience with Big Data tools (Hadoop, Spark) and functional programming.
• Experience in batch/real-time data integration & processing.
• Build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Apache Airflow, Apache Kafka, and Apache Snoop.

This position does not require relocation to Singapore.
