SKILL BIRD is looking for a seasoned Sr. Data Analyst / Data Warehouse Consultant to join their team for a long-term engagement. The role involves working on complex data models, supporting development teams, and enhancing reporting capabilities. With a strong emphasis on public safety and justice systems, this position requires a deep understanding of associated datasets and tools.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Design and develop relational data models at various stages.
• Map user interfaces to database fields for development support.
• Create and manage reports and dashboards, assisting with production deployment.
• Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Document processes and create diagrams for knowledge capture.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis to implement solutions.
• Communicate effectively with peers and stakeholders.

This role requires you to have:

• At least 3 years of experience with relational databases.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
• 5 years experience with Power BI Report Server and Service.
• Comprehensive understanding of CJIS, public safety, and justice systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent work experience.
• 10 years of data analysis experience.
• 7 years of SQL Server experience.
• 4 years of expertise with Power BI.
• 2 years of experience in the public sector.
