Data Analyst

Smart IMS Inc. is looking for a skilled Data Analyst to gather, review, clean, and standardize data from various systems. The role involves preparing data for integration, collaborating with analysts and developers, and creating clear data reports and visualizations for stakeholders.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Gather data from various systems including databases and spreadsheets
• Review data for accuracy and completeness
• Identify inconsistencies and anomalies within data
• Clean data to eliminate duplicates, correct errors, and fill missing values
• Standardize data formats for consistency
• Prepare data for integration into a data lake
• Collaborate with department analysts and business owners to understand data systems
• Work with engineers, analysts, and developers to understand data usage
• Create comprehensive data mapping documents
• Develop data review and cleaning reports
• Create reports and dashboards to present findings to stakeholders
• Use data visualization tools such as Power BI to create interactive visualizations
• Communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences
