Data Analyst

Smart IMS Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst to support projects with the State's Department of Education Food and Nutrition Services program and the U.S. Department of Agriculture federal programs. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with a master's degree in Health Information Technology and substantial data analysis experience.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Analyze data sets using SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Employ SAS and R for data set analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop complex SQL queries and interactive dashboards or visualizations.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs.
• Utilize MS Power BI and/or Tableau for dashboard creation.
• Use GIT, GitHub, and JIRA following Agile methodologies.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with multiple technical teams and users.

• Experience with State's Department of Education Food and Nutrition Services within last six months.
• Knowledge of U.S. Department of Agriculture federal programs.
• Master Degree in Health Information Technology.
• Proficiency in SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SAS, and R.
