The role exists to strengthen SoFi's internal audit data analytics function, providing crucial support in audit activities and special projects, while collaborating with a growing team focused on increasing efficiency and effectiveness.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Identify and develop data analytics routines to aid audit activities, including execution and continuous auditing.
• Establish connections with key data owners to build and manage metadata for analytics.
• Assist in creating and maintaining an IA Team Datamart for managing IA data.
• Develop systems for data analytics to enhance understanding of risks and controls.
• Enhance data strategy within the audit department by driving efficiency.
• Interact with leadership to identify necessary data sources for analytics.
• Develop data analytics extraction techniques to support audit activities.
• Manage infrastructure for data extraction and processing, offering analytic outputs.
• Automate audit testing and create dashboards for continuous monitoring.
• Produce reports to assess IA program effectiveness and assist in Board reporting.

This role requires you to have:

• Experience in audit work with strong data analysis and statistical modeling skills.
• Proficiency in analytics tools like Excel, SQL, Alteryx, Python, and R.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Understanding of auditing standards and financial services or risk management.
