Softinc is offering an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. The role involves analyzing energy market rules, validating settlement data, and improving business processes. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring data accuracy and efficiency in operations.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Conduct energy scheduling activities, including forecasting and capacity filing.
• Ensure integrity of load data submissions to the ISO.
• Develop process improvements through interfaces with various organizations.
• Participate in ISO member committee meetings.
• Analyze and document business processes and support systems.

This role requires you to have:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years of analytical or problem-solving experience
• Strong data research skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint

You would benefit from having:

• Master’s Degree
• Experience with Meter Data Management Systems or Customer Service Systems
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools like SQL, SAS, MicroStrategy, or Oracle
