South Washington County Schools is looking for a skilled Educational Data Analyst to join their team at the District Service Center. This role is vital for collaborating with multiple departments to facilitate data-driven decisions. The analyst will organize and maintain databases and create accessible methods for reporting and sharing student information with stakeholders.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Manipulate and display data elements into tables and visualizations.
  • Maintain and evaluate databases related to district programs.
  • Develop and document data warehouse reports and visualizations.
  • Facilitate bi-directional exchange of student information.
  • Maintain data integrity and comply with data privacy laws.
  • Develop complex data queries and codes.
  • Oversee project scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Train staff in using standardized and custom applications for data analysis.

This role requires you to have:

  • Two-year degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, TSQL, SSRS, SSIS, and ASP.NET.
  • Experience with SPSS, R, Excel, and Google applications.
  • Ability to conduct statistical analyses and store procedures.
  • Knowledge of data integrity, privacy laws, and ETL processes.
