Spokane County seeks a Data Information Analyst to join the Community Services Department. This role involves developing, maintaining, and evaluating information systems to support departmental objectives. The analyst will work under the Healthcare Information & Systems Management Supervisor and collaborate with team members and contractors.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Prioritize and ensure timely, accurate data processing projects.
  • Monitor information systems for quality and accuracy of data input and output.
  • Generate reports for effective management of utilization and performance measurements.
  • Document data specifications and maintain information flow charts.
  • Participate in committees and meetings to align data systems with treatment program objectives.
  • Facilitate the Information System Committee for mental health providers.
  • Determine data needs and assist with system configuration and programming.
  • Maintain information services policies and monitor provider treatment agencies for compliance.
  • Evaluate and resolve network service outages.
  • Train and support lower-classified employees, handle technical issues.
  • Provide cost estimates for new systems and upgrades.
  • Act as a liaison to ISD for network and systems issues.
  • Assist Data Quality Technicians with information provision.
  • Monitor backup and recovery processes for business continuity.
  • Manage project plans and data reporting requests from leadership and agencies.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science or related field.
  • Four years of relevant work experience in IT.
  • Equivalent training, certification, or experience in relevant fields.
