They are searching for a Principal Data & Applied Scientist to spearhead their causal AI decision engine, collaborating across various sectors of the company. Reporting to the VP of Decision Science, this position offers executive-level visibility and the opportunity to drive key data science projects.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Develop sophisticated data models and algorithms for large-scale business impact
• Ensure models are adaptable to quickly changing conditions
• Train, test, and deploy models with attention to quality
• Decompose major projects into manageable tasks
• Documentation and communication of systems to stakeholders
• Promote knowledge sharing and development within the team

This role requires you to have:

• Python proficiency for statistical programming
• Expert SQL skills
• Experience with large-scale causal inference models
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop and Apache Spark
