The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment seeks to advance public health and environmental safety across the state. In the Division of Disease Control and Public Health Response, this role ensures data quality and effective electronic case reporting. In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Analyze electronic initial case report data and assess data quality.
- Identify data issues from hospitals and jurisdictions, assessing impacts on public health.
- Interpret data quality findings and collaborate with facilities for resolution.
- Serve as a liaison for troubleshooting data content between healthcare facilities and EHR vendors.
- Manage eCR data using GoogleSQL and support real-time data surveillance.
- Evaluate eCR data against other sources for program monitoring and evaluation.
- Disseminate program data using various platforms, including Tableau.

This role requires you to have:
- Six years of experience in public health, data reporting, or healthcare data analysis.
