The State of Minnesota seeks a MN StoryCollective Data Analyst to join the Mn Management & Budget agency. This role focuses on analyzing and enhancing the use of MN StoryCollective data, requiring significant creativity and adaptability in building relationships across state and community partners. The position involves collaboration with various team leads to ensure effective use and understanding of this community engagement initiative.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Conduct data analysis and build capacity for community partners using MN StoryCollective data.
  • Maintain relationships with state colleagues, agency leadership, and external stakeholders.
  • Support internal team members and external partners in using data and methodology effectively.
  • Act as a data expert in facilitating the initiative's execution under limited supervision.

This role requires you to have:

  • Two years of professional experience with data analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree substituting for one year of experience.
  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative data evaluation.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Independence in initiating and completing projects.

  • Experience in public budgeting and grants administration.
