The State of Minnesota offers a vital role for a TRACS Data Analyst within its Housing Finance Agency, focusing on maintaining integrity in project-based rental assistance programs. The position requires aligning with owners and managers to ensure adherence to HUD standards, thus contributing to the enhancement of housing infrastructure in the state.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Review and approve monthly TRACS voucher and tenant data submissions.
  • Analyze TRACS errors and determine their accuracy.
  • Collaborate with staff and external customers to resolve income errors.
  • Review owner repayment agreements for HUD compliance.
  • Authorize payments for Section 8 Special Claims for non-payment issues.
  • Assist external customers with gross rent change implementations.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to external customers.

  • Experience with HUD Section 8 programs.

You would benefit from having:

  • Direct experience with HUD TRACS system.
  • Certification as an Occupancy Specialist or similar.
  • Experience with large databases.
