They are looking for a Data Scientist to join their research division, focusing on data translation to improve communication of findings internally and externally. This role supports various research needs across the agency.
In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure data accuracy in the Nebraska Inmate Case Management System (NICaMS).
- Design methods for managing and analyzing large datasets.
- Create codebooks and document business rules for data entry.
- Develop and test reports in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE).
- Create data visualizations for non-technical audiences.
- Analyze data and summarize findings for decision makers.

This role requires you to have:
- Post high school coursework in business process analysis.
- Experience in system requirements and business process applications.
You would benefit from having:

- Ability to manage multiple projects.
