In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for data collection and analysis to optimize procurement processes.
  • Conduct research into procurement and industry topics.
  • Interpret complex data sets using statistical techniques.
  • Develop databases and data analysis strategies.
  • Identify and correct data discrepancies.
  • Present research findings to management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Analyze financial and contract data for the Central Procurement Office.
  • Provide consultation on procurement strategy development.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the Central Procurement Office.
  • Maintain relationships with procurement staff and key vendors.

This role requires you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four years of related experience.
  • Two years of procurement experience.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Tableau and Oracle BI.
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with large data sets.
