StateJobsNY is hiring a Data Analyst 3 at their Central Office. The individual will supervise a team of Data Analysts, set goals, and ensure timely project completion. The role involves data visualization, statistical modeling, and data mining.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Data Analyst 4 to align data analysis activities with organizational goals
• Provide oversight and review work of Data Analyst 1s
• Generate reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Provide training and mentorship to grade 18 Data Analysts
• Analyze clinical and behavioral health data
• Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends
• Identify risks in programs based on data trends
• Create and present data visualizations using dashboards, graphs, and charts
• Collaborate with other teams to gather data requirements and ensure data quality
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline data analysis processes

This role requires you to have:

• Experience in data visualization, statistical models, and data mining tools
• Advanced SQL development using PL/SQL
• Experience in relational database design, SQL queries
• Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, and integrity
• Proficiency in data Warehouse/business intelligence, database design, and development using Microsoft technologies
