Strategic Data Systems, based at the Dahlgren Naval Surface Warfare Center, is offering a unique opportunity for a Data Analyst to join their business intelligence and data warehouse team. This role has been created to enhance data analysis capabilities and improve overall system efficiency. The ideal candidate will work closely with the team to develop robust data solutions and provide valuable customer support.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

• Designing data tables and structures, acquiring data, specifying system requirements, and ensuring data validation and documentation.
• Developing data interface, online query, report, database load, and data validation specifications.
• Providing customer support by interfacing with clients, troubleshooting, conducting product reviews, and resolving problems.

This role requires you to have:

• Active DOD Secret Security Clearance
• High School Diploma with six or more years of experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Analytical skills in database management and development
• Knowledge of relational database management systems and data warehousing
• Experience with Cognos Tool Suite for report and dashboard creation
• Skillful in writing and analyzing SQL queries
• Mathematical reasoning aptitude
• Effective oral and written communication skills for customer support
